Tribute to motorcycle graphic artist Mick Ofield †

In 2023, I commissioned motorcycle graphic artist Mick Ofield to design the Hand Held Dyno logo and engine graphics to promote my bespoke motorcycle ignitions. The results are a range of genuine, hand-drawn images that indelibly depict some of the most appreciated objects of the 20th century—the motorcycles we love.

Sadly, in 2025, Mick passed away from cancer. This range is a tribute to his life's work.

I have chosen a heavy-duty 7 oz, 100% cotton tee (my wife warns—tell them to read the washing instructions!), so you have a tee that will last many rides to come.

Ducati Pantah engine

The Ducati Pantah engine is arguably the most important engine in Ducati’s history. Designed by legendary Chief Engineer Fabio Taglioni, it introduced the rubber-belt, air-cooled, Desmodromic V-twin architecture that saved the company in the late 1970s and served as the direct technological blueprint for every two-valve Ducati engine produced over the next four decades.

This T-shirt celebrates the original belt twin—the Pantah. The little engine that could!

Care Instructions+−
  • Machine-wash cold, inside-out, on a gentle cycle with similar colours.
  • Use mild detergent.
  • Use non-chlorine bleach only when necessary.
  • Do not use fabric softener.
  • Do not dry-clean.
  • Hang-dry where practical, or tumble-dry on low.
  • If ironing is necessary, use a cool iron with the garment inside-out.
  • Never iron directly over the print.

Proper care helps prevent fading, cracking and shrinking.
